Terms of Service

By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using Spread Weaver (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum digital-consent age in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher, to use the Service.

Spread Weaver is a tarot journal and AI-assisted interpretation tool. You lay spreads, write your own notes, and may optionally have an AI synthesis generated from those notes. The Service is provided for personal reflection, creative, educational, and entertainment purposes.

Not professional advice. Nothing produced by Spread Weaver — including AI-generated synthesis — constitutes medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or other professional advice. Use your own judgment and consult a qualified professional for important decisions.

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Notify us at support@spreadweaver.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

You agree not to:

• use the Service to harass, threaten, defame, or harm any person;
• upload content that infringes a third party's rights or violates the law;
• attempt to circumvent rate limits, paid tiers, or technical safeguards;
• scrape, resell, or republish the Compendium or other Spread Weaver content without permission;
• use the Service to develop a competing AI-interpretation product.

You retain ownership of the questions, notes, and journal entries you create ("Your Content"). You grant Spread Weaver a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you, including sending it to the AI provider when you request an interpretation.

You are responsible for Your Content and represent that you have the right to submit it.

AI synthesis is generated by third-party language models routed through the Lovable AI Gateway. Output is probabilistic, may be inaccurate or inconsistent, and should be treated as creative writing rather than fact. Spread Weaver does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or fitness of any AI-generated output.

Some features are available only on paid tiers. Plans, features, and limits are described on the Plans page and may change. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue paid features at any time; if we make a materially adverse change to a feature you are actively paying for, we will make a reasonable effort to notify you in advance or to offer a prorated refund.

The Compendium essays, design, branding, and software are owned by Spread Weaver and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may read and reference the Compendium for personal study and link to its pages. You may not republish, redistribute, or use it to train machine-learning models without prior written permission.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spread Weaver and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $50.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from the Settings page or by emailing support@spreadweaver.com. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to other users or the Service itself.

We may update these Terms at any time, without prior notice. The "Effective" date at the top of this page reflects the latest version. Material changes will also be summarized at the top of this page for a reasonable period. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
